2023 NSMQ Regional Qualifiers: Nifa SHS, Mpraeso SHS Impress And Other Thrilling Results✔✔

The 2023 National Science and Maths Quiz (NSMQ) regional qualifiers is ongoing in Ghana and there have surprising and interesting results so far. The 2023 NSMQ Regional qualifiers are for unseeded schools who are battling for a spot in the National championship. Below are the results so far for the ongoing 2023 National Science and Maths Quiz Regional qualifiers.
The first contest of the day (21st June 2023) for Eastern region was among four schools, namely; Presby SHTS, Koforidua, Mpraeso SHS, SDA SHS, Asokore and Adonten SHS. At the end of the first round, Mpraeso climbed to the top with 24 points. At the end of the first round these were the results; Mpraeso SHS – 24 Points Adonten SHS – 14 Points SDA SHS, Asokore – 05 Points Presby SHTS, Kraboa Coaltar – 03 Points At the end of the contest Mpraeso won with 60 points. End of contest Mpraeso SHS – 60 Points Adonten SHS – 22 Points SDA SHS, Asokore – 10 Points Presby SHTS, Kraboa Coaltar – 06 Points For the North East region, the first contest of the day featured Bunkprugu SHTS, Nalerigu SHS, Walewale SHTS and Nakpanduri SHS. Walewale SHTS took the lead at the end of the first round and then, the unexpected happened. At the end of the contest, Bunkprugu SHTS won narrowly as Nalerigu trailed behind them with just a point difference.
End of contest Bunkprugu SHTS – 21 Points Nalerigu SHS Walewale SHTS – 15 Points Nakpanduri SHS – 06 Points The first contest of the day for Savannah region featured Damongo SHS, Bole SHS, Salaga SHS and Ndewura Jakpa SHTS. Interestingly Damongo SHS took the lead in all the four rounds. At the end of the contest Damongo SHS won with 41 points.
End of contest– 20 Points Damongo SHS – 41 Points Salaga SHS – 09 Points Bole SHS – 08 Points Ndewura Jakpa SHTS – (-02 Points) And the second contest of the day for the Eastern Region featured Nifa Senior High School, New Abirem/Afosu SHS, Anum Presby SHS and St. Dominic’s SHS. Nifa SHS led all the four rounds ahead of the competing schools. At the end of the contest Nifa SHS won with a 50 points margin. This could be the highest score of the day for todays contests. At the end of the contest these were the results; Nifa SHS – 65 Points
St. Dominic’s SHS – 15 Points Anum Presby SHS – 11 Points New Abirem/Afosu SHS – 09 Points These are the results so far for todays contest, all the remaining results will be updated under this post.
